Return & Exchange Policy
We want you to love your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, we're here to help.
What is your return policy?
1. No Refund Policy – All Sales Are Final
We operate under a strict no refund policy. All purchases are final and non-refundable to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, cash, etc.). We do not issue refunds, reversals, or chargebacks to your card or bank account under any circumstances, except as required by law for defective or incorrect items.
Any approved credits or remedies are issued exclusively as store credit for future purchases only.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy. Attempting a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, or other non-defective reasons violates our terms. We reserve the right to recover disputed amounts (including fees), ban accounts, or take other action against abusive behavior.
Limited Returns and Exchanges
You have 30 days from your delivery date to initiate a return or exchange request for eligible items.
Returns cost $5 per return (deducted from store credit).
Exchanges are free.
Items must be returned unworn, unused, with all original tags attached and in original packaging. No refunds or exchanges will be accepted for items that have been worn or are not in their original packaging.
All returns are reviewed by our Quality Assurance team and can take 7–14 business days to process after we receive and mark the shipment as delivered.
Proof of drop-off (return receipt from the carrier) is required. We cannot issue any credit for lost or undelivered return shipments without this proof.
All original shipping costs (including duties and taxes) are non-refundable and will not be credited.
Final Sale Items
Final Sale items are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances. This includes:
Clearance, warehouse, or “Up-To” sale items
Beanies, satin pillowcases, bonnets, satin scrunchies, satin headbands, and socks (due to hygiene reasons)
Once an exchange is processed, the exchanged item is treated as a final sale and is not eligible for further returns or exchanges.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective item, please contact us within 30 days at info@melanatedprincess.com with the following:
Your order number
A detailed written description of the issue
Clear images of the item(s), barcodes, packaging, and any shipping damage
Photos of the shipping box if damaged (if applicable)
We will review your submission promptly. If approved, we will issue store credit (no card refund) as the sole remedy.
Non-Returnable Items
International Orders Policy
We maintain a strict no refund policy for international orders. All purchases from outside the US are final and non-refundable to the original payment method (credit card, debit card, PayPal, etc.).
We do not issue cash refunds, card reversals, or chargebacks under any circumstances, except as legally required for proven defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
Any approved remedies are issued exclusively as store credit for future purchases only.
By placing an international order, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. Initiating a chargeback or dispute for non-defective reasons (such as change of mind or sizing issues) violates our terms. We reserve the right to contest disputes, recover funds, and restrict future access to our store.
International Returns (Limited – Customer-Paid)
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return.
International returns are not free. Return shipping costs will be deducted from your store credit.
Exchanges are not offered for international orders.

Store credit issued is final and non-transferable.
